GENERAL RULES
- The CROWN DANCE CUP is open to all dancers aged 4 and over.
- Independent dancers, dance schools, clubs, etc. are eligible to participate in the competition.
- Each contestant can participate with as many choreographies as they want in any type of dance and in any category as long as it corresponds to their age group.
- By completing your application to the competition, each contestant agrees and accepts the terms and regulations as stated by the organization. There is no refund policy from the moment you complete the application.
- Contest participants must arrive at least one hour before the scheduled start of their category to avoid delays.
- Dancers, choreographers and all those responsible for the contestants must be informed by the competition pages, Social Media and Press Releases for news and instructions.
- The division of children into age categories is based on the year of birth and not the month.
- All competitors with a common year of birth are categorized with the same age, e.g. 12 years old, without taking into account whether they were born at the beginning or end of the year.
- The age category for the Group category is determined as described in the age categories.
- Participation in the SILVER and GOLD categories excludes participation at a more beginner level.
- Children's groups are not allowed to have an adult dance with them.
- Songs for the Contemporary Solo, and Street style Solo and greek dances categories are provided by the competition organizers
- The time restrictions of the music set by the organization in all categories must be strictly observed. In case of objection and proof to the contrary, the contestants will automatically move to the last place.
For Teachers, Coaches & School Representatives
The teacher, coach, school representative must:
- Know and abide by the rules of the category and the organization.
- Make sure to have given the music on time up to and before the start of the competition.
- Ensure the safety of the athletes throughout the competition.
- Ensure that the athletes know and abide by the competition regulations.
- Take measures to prevent and deal with any form of discrimination or violence.
- Promote the prestige of his profession through his actions and behavior.
- Respect the judges and recognize their role.
- Avoid public criticism of athletes, judges or other coaches during the competition.
- Not to smoke/vape or consume alcohol, nor to allow athletes to do so within the sports facilities.
- To be a positive role model of behavior and ethics for his athletes.
- To avoid public discussions regarding the results or decisions of the jury, including on the internet.
- To ensure the participation of athletes in the awarding of awards.
- To comply with this Code of Ethics and to ensure its observance by other coaches.

SOLO IMPROVISATION UNDER 16, OVER 16
CATEGORIES
- In Improvisation categories the contestants are not allowed to use a choreographed sequence
- Contestants from one age group are not allowed to dance to younger age group
- Duos΄ age group is defined by the oldest of the two
GROUPS
- 3-6 dancers 1 older dancer, who belongs to the next age category, is allowed to join the group
- 7-9 dancers 2 older dancers, who belong to the next age category, are allowed to join the group
- 10-12 dancers 3 older dancers, who belong to the next age category, are allowed to join the group
- 13-and more dancers 4 older dancers, who belong to the next age category, are
allowed to join the group
- Adults are not allowed to dance in Juvenile & Junior Groups
- Pro-Am the age is defined by the Am
- You are kindly requested to carry a birth certificate or something that defines the age of the contestant.
In case of objections and evidence to the contrary the team will automatically take the last place.
SAFETY RULES
For safety reasons all acrobatic elements in all categories are NOT ALLOWED
DRESS CODE
- In Juveniles and Junior I categories please be so kind as not to be provocative.
DURATION
- In solo categories the music provided by the organisation and the choreographies must be up to 01:30 minutes
- In solo improvisation categories the music is unknown to the contestants and provided by the organisation at the time of the category being performed and will be up to 01:30 minutes
- In duo categories the music provided by the organisation and the choreographies must be up to 01:30 minutes.
In solo and duo categories the contestants will be dancing in heats.
- In Group categories the music is provided by the team and must be up to 3 minutes.
In case the mix is more than 3 minutes the organization will make fade out
The organizers reserve the right to document, broadcast, film and distribute all materials, without the obligation of paying for rights and compensations. By registering to participate in the event and the training camp, performers automatically grant permission to the organizers to photograph, video record and broadcast the dancers at any time during their
performances during the event, in and around the venue. The videos, photos, may be used by the organizers on social media, digital channels, advertising and promotional materials for advertising purposes, on the event and organizers website, banners and press distribution.

- Participation in SILVER and GOLD categories automatically forbids participation in lower level's categories.
PRO-AM COUPLES
- The number worn by the AM
- PRO-AM couples are allowed to dance in any PRO-AM category
- In case the PRO has more than 1 entry in one category then the organization will add a second same category
ALL LADIES LATIN
- 5 dances are obligatory
- Props, change of costume, visual effects, lifts and themed costumes are NOT allowed
- Themed music is allowed
- Formations throughout performance are allowed
- Duration 3 min maximum, in case the mix is more than 3 minutes the organization will make fade out.
ALL LADIES LATIN SHOW
- 5 dances are obligatory
- Props, change of costume, visual effects, lifts and themed costumes are allowed
In case of using any, please be so kind as to collect them at the end of your program.

- In Oriental categories the use of accessories is permitted in all categories, provided that they are consistent with a style of the category
- Oriental / Belly Dance Solo categories include the following styles only in Show:
- Classic: Megance, Raks Sharky, Tarab, Pop, Lyrical, Romantic
- Foklore: Balladi, Shaaby, Saidi with Assaya, Hagala, Khalleegi, Iraqi, Dabka, Eskandarani, Mowashah
- Show Drum
- Fantasy_Fusion: Fan Veils, Isis Wings, Doubble Veil, Sword, Flamenco Oriental, Latin Oriental, Contemporary Oriental
- Live tabla: Wil be in heats with maximum 3 dancers per heat depending upon entries
- Oriental / Belly Dance Duo categories only in Show
- Oriental / Belly Dance Teams categories only in Show
MUSIC – DURATION
In all show categories the music is the contestant’s choice.
- Solo Oriental/Belly Dance Show (Classic/Folklore/Drum/Fantasy Fusion) songs and choreography must be up to 2:30 minutes
- Duo Oriental/Belly Dance Show where songs and choreography must be up to 2:30 minutes
- Group Oriental/Belly Dance Show where songs and choreography must be up to 3:00 minutes
- Solo Live Tabla (in heats) must be up to 1.30 minutes
Professionals
- Solo Show Classic where songs and choreography must be up to 3:00 minutes
- Solo Show Folklore where songs and choreography must be up to 3:00 minutes
- Solo Live Tabla (in heats) must be up to 2.00 minutes
MARKS
Please pay attention that In Professional category is obligatory to enter in all 3 categories as mentioned above.

The final score of each contenstant will be calculated by adding up the results of all 3 categories
